Personalized Trip Design

As a self-proclaimed trip planning and logistics nerd, I specialize in helping people design their dream hiking and backpacking trips - the kind that are the perfect combination of fun, intentional, and truly unforgettable.

I’ve worked in the BC outdoor recreation industry for over a decade, planning and supporting a wide range of adventures. From road trips with scenic day hikes and meaningful stops, to long-distance thru-hikes spanning months, to luxury, BC-based heli-skiing experiences, I know what it takes to turn an idea into a well-executed journey.

If you have a trail, route, or adventure in mind and want expert support with itinerary design, permits, packing lists, logistics, and transportation, let’s connect.

Pricing starts at:

  • $40 for 30 minute consultation

  • $70 for 60 minute consultation

  • $120 for custom itineraries (varies depending on complexity)

Backpacking Trip Design

Backpacking Trip Design is for hikers who want expert support turning an idea into a well-planned adventure. Whether it’s your first overnight or a bucket-list backcountry route, I help shape a trip that fits your experience and goals — so you can step onto the trail feeling prepared and confident.

  • Route and itinerary design (daily mileage, camps, alternates)

  • Permit research and application guidance

  • Packing lists tailored to trip + experience level

  • Logistics (transport, resupply, trailheads)

  • Risk considerations + contingency planning

Thru-Hike Logistics & Planning

Preparing for a thru-hike can be both incredibly exciting and nerve-wracking. Drawing on my personal thru-hiking experiences on the Pacific Crest Trail and Great Divide Trail, I help you plan the big picture and the fine details.

  • Macro and micro itinerary planning

  • Seasonal timing and permit strategy

  • Resupply, town stops, and transport logistics

  • Gear optimization and pack weight considerations

  • Mental preparation and expectation setting

Road Trip Design

Road Trip Design is for travellers who want a fun, easygoing adventure without the stress of planning. From scenic drives and great day hikes to memorable stops along the way, I help create road trips that flow well and leave plenty of room for spontaneity.

  • Custom route planning with daily pacing in mind

  • Recommended hikes, stops, and rest days

  • Accommodation and campground suggestions

  • Seasonal considerations and regional insights

  • Optional packing and gear guidance

Trail Confidence Session

The Trail Confidence Session is a one-on-one consultation for new hikers or hikers working on their confidence that want clarity, reassurance, or a second set of experienced eyes. If you’ve got a seed of an idea, or have already started planning but feel stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed - we can go over:

  • Review of your trail or trip idea

  • Permit, logistics, and safety Q&A

  • Gear and packing list feedback

  • Skill gaps and confidence-building guidance

  • Clear next steps to move forward

  • 30-60 min 1:1 consultation
